From Santurce, Puerto Rico. Gabriel Rosario Mongil aka Bebe Bambu is a designer and recording artist. Originally known for his graffiti work and slam poetry, being the author of several murals in Puerto Rico and Monterrey, MX. He graduated from the University of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras and received a scholarship to do his masters degree in graphic design and graduated from the University of Monterrey, MX in 2013/15. During this; he had his second solo exhibition, recorded his first solo album and started offering workshops for children in communities in need. In Monterrey he performed in La Escena Monterrey and other music festivals in Mexico, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands and NYC. Now located in Brooklyn, Bebe Bambu has recorded three solo albums, presented his project in several galleries, created his first NFT collection and continues to develop his artistic career by working with the community offering art workshops, showcasing his projects and collaborating with others.
